American Stripping is an indoor paint, rust, coatings removal, and product profiling facility located in Medway, MA. We specialize in baking soda blasting.

Steve D'Innocenzo, owner of American Stripping, owned and operated Medway Collision, a small collision and restoration shop for 15 years. During which time he worked on the Ford Truck Re-paint program, where all Ford trucks from years 1985-96 had to be de-painted and re-painted. While searching for a more cost-effective way to remove paint, rust, and coatings, he came across "Baking Soda Blasting". Baking Soda is a non-destructive paint, rust, and coatings removal process which can degrease or de-paint surfaces and substrates in a way that no other method has satisfactorily been able to accomplish. Here are just some of the advantages of baking soda blasting:

Baking Soda Blasting

  • Is Safe on glass, rubber, or chrome moldings

  • Is Safe for zinc coated metals (metals will not rust from this process)

  • Is Safe for thin-skinned aluminum (Will not Warp)

  • Is Safe for gel coat on fiberglass (if intact)

  • Will NOT warp, distort, or profile rubber

  • Is safe for wires, radiators, carburetors, packings, pistons, or bearings

Baking Soda Blasting is the perfect solution for stripping automobiles to bare metal, as well as, cleaning antiques, household items, landscape, construction, farm, hospital and restaurant equipment, and many other hard or soft substrates. For more on Baking Soda Blasting, click here.
